Though matte black in finish, the 2020 Jobe Nixon is anything but dull! Built for those rebel riders who refused to commit to just boat or cable riding, but instead would rather let their riding speak for itself.

JOBE spiced up the boring old continuous rocker line with a modern twist from a blend of new materials like Carbon Rods and Patterned Glass. As well as allowing for a stronger yet thinner overall profile, the carbon within the Nixon acts like stringers creating specific flex zones in the tip/tail that store and release energy for controlled pop off the wake.

Unlike other boards, the Nixon’s unique glass matting is cross hatched to remove the chance of weak fibres or an inconsistent grain that could present a weak spot, instead it strengthens the board and increase the resins bleed through for a finish that it the epitome of responsiveness.

At its heart the Nixon has an exclusive hardwood polymer foam infused core that maintains shape while riding behind the boat and gives that little flex you want when carving in the open water or at the park.

The secret to this boards controlled release off the water and exaggerated feel is its hexagonal ends and refined side cut edges that deliver greater contact points in the water for a smoother transition mid turn allowing for a faster cut that naturally glides up the transition of the wake. Expelling the stored energy through the even tips for a higher arcing pop giving its riders the ability to land tricks further out into the flats.
